SBI RECRUITMENT 2019: Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers (POs) in State Bank of India. Candidates selected are liable to be posted anywhere in India.Eligible candidates, who aspire to join State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer, are required to register online for the Recruitment Process. The recruitment process will be held in three phases i.e. Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Group Exercise & Interview. Candidates who are shortlisted after Preliminary Examination will have to appear for Main Examination. Candidates who are shortlisted after the Main Examination will be subsequently called for Group Exercises & Interview. Prospective candidates can apply after carefully reading the advertisement regarding the process of examinations/ interview, eligibility criteria, online registration processes, payment of prescribed application fee/ intimation charges, a pattern of examinations, issuance of call letters, etc. and ensure that they fulfill the stipulated criteria and follow the prescribed processes.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: 

(A) Essential Academic Qualifications: (as on 31.08.2019): Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for an interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.08.2019. Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.08.2019. Candidates possessing the qualification of Chartered Accountant may also apply. 

Note: 

• i. The date of passing eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University/ Institute. In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University/ Institute, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University/ Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website will be taken as the date of passing. 
• ii. Candidate should indicate the percentage obtained in Graduation calculated to the nearest two decimals in the online application. Where CGPA/ OGPA is awarded, the same should be converted into a percentage and indicated in the online application. If called for an interview, the candidate will have to produce a certificate issued by the appropriate authority inter alia stating the norms of the University regarding the conversion of grade into percentage and the percentage of marks scored by the candidate in terms of these norms. 

Age Limit: Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.04.2019 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.1998 and not earlier than 02.04.1989 (both days inclusive)

Application Fee: SC/ ST/ PWD - Rs.125/- (Intimation Charges only),General/ EWS/ OBC - Rs. 750/- (App. Fee including intimation charges)

1. On-line registration including Editing/ Modification of Application by candidates: 02.04.2019 to 22.04.2019
2. Payment of Application Fee/ Intimation Charges:  02.04.2019 to 22.04.2019
3. Download of call letters for online Preliminary Examination:  3 rd week of May 2019 onwards
4. Online Preliminary Examination:  8th, 9th, 15th & 16th June 2019
5. A result of Online Preliminary Examination:  1 st week of July 2019
6. Download of Call letter for Online Main Examination:  2nd week of July 2019
7. Conduct of Online Main Examination:  20.07.2019
8. Declaration of Result of Main Examination:  3 rd week of August 2019
9. Download of Call Letter for Group Exercises & Interview:  4th week of August 2019
10. Conduct of Group Exercises & Interview:  September 2019
11. Declaration of Final Result:  2nd week of October 2019

How to Apply

1. Candidates can apply online only from 02.04.2019 to 22.04.2019. No other mode of application will be accepted
2. Pre-requisites for Applying Online: Candidates should have valid email ID and mobile no. which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will be essentially required for receiving any communication/ call letters/advice from the bank by email/ SMS.
3. Guidelines for filling online application: Candidates will be required to register themselves online through Bank's website https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers. After registration candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking. 
4. The candidates must bring one photo identity proof such as passport/ Aadhar/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Voter's Id Card/ Bank Passbook with duly attested Photograph/ Identity Card issued by School or College/ Gazetted Officer in the official letterhead in original as well as a self-attested Photocopy thereof. The photocopy of Identity proof should be submitted along with call letter to the invigilators in the examination hall, failing which, (or if an identity of candidates is in doubt) the candidate will not be permitted to appear for the test.
